I would like to invite Highland Park and surrounding areas residents to an Obama Fund-raiser this Thursday at AVA's at 126 S. Highland Avenue, East Liberty. The fund-raiser is from 6:00 to 9:00 pm and will feature music, refreshments and poetic expressions. This being the night of the vice-Presidential debate, there will be a viewing of the debate in AVA's Blue Room on large screen TV at 9:00.
