The monthly HPCC meeting will be held at the Union Project on September 19th at 7:00pm. Voting for open board positions will take place. If you are interested in joining the HPCC board. We will also have two guest speakers - Pittsburgh Public Schools (PPS) Board Member Dr. Regina Holley (former principal of Lincoln School and Highland Park resident) and Jeanne McMullen from the PPS Superintendent's Office. They will be discussing current public school issues and updates on Fulton, Dilworth and the Obama Academy. Though Kindergarten enrollment was up last year, the District is currently reconfiguring some schools to meet $46M funding gap. The speakers will also be discussing the status of the Envisioning Project and its impact on Highland Park Schools. I hope to see you there!
