East End Farmers Market : Family Fun Night this Monday 3-7PM
Hello Highland Park Neighbors, Thank you to all of you who have come out to the East End Market - it's been a joy to meet people who have been supporting this market throughout all of its various locations and iterations. This coming Monday, we will have a cooking demo (mojo pork, salsa, yum) from Michael's Manna and children's activities from Trying Together during the market from 3-7PM. Matias from Apasionado Dance will instruct salsa class from 6-6:30PM and we'll dance until dusk! The farmers markets are now permanently housed in Parks and Recreation and we have a lovely crew dedicated to the revival of this market. Come out to show support of your local farmers and vendors, and to cut a rug! Here is our lineup: Produce * Bekah's Farm (not there this week for vacation, but will be there following weeks) * Jodikinos Farm and Greenhouse * The Rooted Garden Microgreens * Weaver's Market Meat * Coyne Farms Value Added * Maestro Chef Spices * Ajuana's Hot Sauce Prepared Foods * Can We Get it Poppin'?! * Pittsburgh's Best Cafe * Lula La Chula Community Resources * Adagio Health * Trying Together * Carnegie Library of East Liberty * Just Harvest * This season, SNAP recipients will have their benefits matched dollar-for-dollar by Just Harvest, The Food Trust, and the City's Food Justice Fund! In community, James and the Farmers Markets Team Department of Parks and Recreation City of Pittsburgh 414 Grant Street, Suite 459 Pittsburgh, PA 15219 Farmers Markets - Pittsburgh, PA (pittsburghpa.gov)<https://www.pittsburghpa.gov/Recreation-Events/Events/Farmers-Markets> [cid:3034c96d-c796-4643-aa6b-c0a970235e5a]
