Last night we arrived home after a date night to find that the Black Lives Matter yard sign in our front yard had been torn in half and thrown on the ground. The sign has been undisturbed there for nearly 3 years, until now. This is deeply concerning and a violation for multiple reasons. I'm still a bit taken aback by this so I'm not sure what to say really... It's not just about the damage to a sign, but what this may represent. Highland Park should be safe for ALL our neighbors. Please be careful out there and push back on hate if you are able to. Not going to disclose where exactly we live for obvious reasons. Cassia
