This is a Captain's style bed. It has 4 drawers and 2 shelves. The construction is solid wood. However, it is easy to take apart to move. The color is a medium brown. The drawers have detail on the front and dove-tail construction of face to body of drawer. Cost to buy new in stores is $1200. We are selling ours for $900. We need to purchase a larger bed for him.
