The essential duties include: welcome and serve library patrons; maintain library policies and security; check materials in and out of the library; register new borrowers; receive fines and fees; provide basic information about collections, resources, and services; oversee/troubleshoot photocopiers; answer telephone calls; shelve, shelf-reading, and scan books for inventory.
