Hello All The East End Historical Society is having a demonstration of a real working blast furnace on Tuesday at Borders Books in East Liberty. This is in conjunction with the release of the book on the East Liberty Valley. The attached press release was sent by Al Mann, who was instrumental in getting the book published. Book signing and snacks afterwards. Rain or snow will not stop it, since the iron pouring out will be 2,800 degrees!
