Hi Neighbors This Sunday will kick off the reservoir of jazz series for this year at the entrance to the park. Concerts will occur weather permitting for the next 5 Sundays from 5pm to 7 pm. Its free! We will have a variety of community groups on hand as well as great food from Manno's Market and Deli as well as Italian Ice from Lascola's. There is a kids area with great activities and hand crafts for the kids. Here is this year's music lineup: August 02 Gerald “Shotgun” Haymon Collaboration August 09 Guitars of Pittsburgh Tribute featuring Joe Negri, Marty Ashby and Eric Susoeff (presented by MCG Jazz) August 16 Jazz Surgery with Tony Campbell August 23 Jeff Grubbs Quartet featuring Tania Grubbs August 30 Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra featuring Sean Jones If you are willing to give some of your time to the community and help us with clean up that would be great. Stop by the tent area when the concert ends and you can help us tear down some tents and gather up some of the trash and recycling. There may be an opportunity for volunteers with children's activities as well.
