The car part found on Callery belongs to my husband. It took us awhile to notice it was missing, and when we learned neighbors had found it we knew it was ours. That prompted us to look for the small case of quarters we keep in the car, and we realized it was also missing. Nothing else appeared to be touched - nothing rummaged through or strewn about -- portable CD player, papers, etc. all fully intact. That's why it took nearly a week for us to notice anything.   Please note: my husband is always diligent to lock his car. We suspect the car vandals know how to pick locks. We don't mean to cause undue alarm, but please use this as another reminder to not leave any valuables or even coins in your car.   Thanks everyone for using this list serve and working together to keep our neighborhood safe.
