Come down Saturday, Sept. 30th from 11am to 3pm at Union Project (at the corner of Stanton Ave. and Negley Ave.) Sponsored by Whole Foods and the Union Project, this event is designed to give local rib chefs a chance to compete for prizes and the community to come together for an afternoon of music and fun. Local celebrities will be judging this year’s ribs while Pittsburgh’s own fabulous soul and funk band, “The World of Soul” and DJ Omar-Abdul provide entertainment. Event attendees will have a chance to win a free gas grill, in addition to sampling the competing chefs’ culinary skills. Tickets will be sold at the door.
