Celebrate the holiday season with Singing Chef, Olga Watkins, and the Soul Kitchen Band for an evening of classic American cuisine and jazz. Chef Olga will demonstrate and prepare a unique, holiday dinner including Gorgonzola Stuffed Pears with Pecan and Champagne Reduction, Pan Seared Scallops, Rosemary and Garlic Infused Rib Roast with Seasonal, Roasted Veggies, Eggnog Parfaits (spiced pumpkin cake and eggnog cream layered together), and let's not forget a lesson in creating special holiday cocktails. In between preparations, relax and enjoy some holiday favorites performed by the Soul Kitchen Band. Materials fee is included in the tuition. BYOB. Olga Watkins is the manager of the Union Station Cafe in Highland Park. She has worked as a caterer, culinary teacher, personal chef, menu development specialist, restaurant consultant and chef. Olga is a classically trained musician and also known as Pittsburgh's Singing Chef for her work at food industry gatherings and private events, cooking for a crowd and singing with her Soul Kitchen Band at the same time. Olga's band plays original jazz, blues and soul for packed houses, in clubs and at various shows and events in Pennsylvania and surrounding states.
