Hello Neighbors, I am the Troop Leader for Girl Scout Troop 54281. We are a Brownie Troop and meet at St. Andrew's. Girl Scout Thinking Day is for our service area is March 19th at the Islamic Center. Thinking Day, corny though it may sound, is a day during which Girl Scouts around the world learn and therefore think about each other. Our Troop will be respresenting Haiti, Haitian foods, clothing, cultural traditions, and Girl Scout facts. I know that there are people in Highland Park who have traveled to Haiti and lived in Haiti. I would greatly appreciate your input in helping us create an honorable representation of Haiti. If you have recipies, flags, clothing, information, anything you think might be interesting to girls, aged 5-18 and their families, I would appreciate hearing from you. I have never been to Haiti.
