I announced at the HPCC meeting last Thursday, and it will be in our next newsletter. I was told recently that the city Narcotics Dept. is working very closely with State and Federal agents to try to catch the "big guys" and that the zones will handle neighborhood complaints about drug activity. With that in mind, I am asking anyone who has a drug situation near their home to give me the information in writing, with as many details as possible, so that I can take all of the complaints together to the commander at zone 5. I still urge you to call 911 and utilize silent complaint forms so that the information is documented. You can drop anything off at 811 Farragut Street or put it in the mail. I hope to hear from a lot of you so we can all see where the drug activity is in Highland Park. Thanks for your attention to this very important matter, Jan Stayianos 412-363-8208
