[Highland Park] Rooster and chicken accounted for
Thank you for your responses of help. And especially a big thanks to Joe Manow of Manow's on Mellon who notified me of the Animal Control. Two notes here. Firstly,I called Police about the incident and they did not know of the Animal Control acquiring the rooster and chicken. Secondly, is that a fee totaling 176 dollars per animal is charged. That includes, the court fee, the fine and something else. There is also the charge from the animal rescue league, of each day the animal is there. Again, thank you for your help in helping solve the problem.

Here's the list of recommendations for fence builders. (These are in no particular order, I'm just passing on the exact info that was sent to me) (1) Axel Claussen did my fence, it is awesome and I cant recommend him highly enough. You can come over and see it if you like, we live at 6413 Jackson. The fence is in the back, on the right if you are facing the back of my house. Axel: axel.claussen@gmail.com 412 362-5628 (2) You can call Gary Sciulli from "Gary Sciulli Landscape Construction" 412-462-9345 for building a fence. He has built fences for my clients as well as for myself. He is quite serious about what he does. I constantly have people ask me who built my fence. You may tell him that Dan Landis from Prudential Preferred Realty referred you. (3) North American Fence, located in Tarentum. The've done many fences in Highland Park and their bid was much less than Allegheny Fence. They will tell you what houses they did so you can take a look. (4) We used Sears many years ago (5) I am a Highland Park resident as well as a general contractor. If you would like me to give you an estimate, you can call me at 412-441-4240 or e-mail me at radsellner@comcast.net. (6) North American Fence did a great job for me...fast and neat. (7) My contractor is great! He does top o f the line work. Feel free to call Gary Schulz at 412-445-8485 (8) Three years ago Michael Howard Inc installed my stockade fence. I was & still am very satified. Michael Howard, Inc 174 Sandy Creek Rd 0 Verona, PA 15147 412-795-8721 Fax: 412-795-8721 (9) I used Bethlehem Wire and Fence, off Rt. 28, to install a wood fence last year. Their prices were very reasonable. (10) I used Affordable Fence ffom I believe Wexford. Had it installed over 10 years ago and it still is holding up like the day they installed it. I think they are still in business. Each post and picket was installed individually. --Forwarded Message Attachment-- From: lyncote@gmail.com To: neighborhood@highlandparkpa.com Date: Mon, 16 Mar 2009 10:13:05 -0400 Subject: [Highland Park] Free items I have several items up for grabs on a first come first served basis. It’s 10 years old, but was used on our guest bed, so it didn’t get much usage at all. it’s in great condition. (A few years ago had to buy a split-type box spring to get it up the stairs in a rental apartment, so this one’s no longer needed. ) Please note: this is the box spring ONLY; not the mattress. You must be able to haul it away; I can’t help you with that. So you will need a truck of some sort. We are located on Portland near the zoo/park area. Email privately for directions. First come, first that can haul it away, gets it. Thanks everyone! ~ Gary Guercio _________________________________________________________________ Express your personality in color!
