Hey neighbors! We are so overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from the neighborhood. The number of people who have reached out directly to share ways they've worked with or known Jen just speaks to how great this neighborhood is. Just wanted to check in to say thank you, and to share that while the recovery process will take months or years, it's beginning on a great foot with lots of support and you all as a neighborhood helped to make that happen. Now, here is one more thing you can do! Jen and Joey need ALL KINDS OF PACKING MATERIAL because they need to move everything out of home and studio while rebuilding is happening over the next six to eight months. I'll be hosting a Box Drive on their behalf (well, my porch will be) and collecting your used or new cardboard boxes, packing tape, newspaper or brown wrapping paper or that honeycomb type paper that is used as padding sometimes. NO PLASTICS AT ALL PLEASE, including plastic air filled padding and packing peanuts. When: Starting Tuesday, October 18 until needs are met What: used or new cardboard boxes (small Amazon boxes & shoeboxes are great, but any size box is welcome), packing tape, and PAPER BASED PACKAGING AND WRAPPING MATERIAL ONLY, please don't drop off plastic of any kind or packing peanuts.
