sharing the recommendations I received for iron railings
Thanks for all the recommendations (and beautiful photos!). Sharing the list here, as several folks requested: Harry did my very simple railings this winter - he came almost immediately, turned around an estimate quickly and made and installed them within a week or two. He was easy to work with and inexpensive. He showed me lot's of photos of his work, but I don't remember how fancy he goes. You can take a look at ours at 1011 Heberton St, if you want to see a sample of his work. Gene Hepler 412-721-3414 just did the same thing for us. His work was really good. He was actually a subcontractor to DeVito Concrete, the company that also replaced our front steps. I just saw these guys doing some cool work down on Stanton Ave. http://foundforged.com/ Local company - 2 young guys. Check it out! We used Armin Iron Works - 412-322-1622, Aldo was great to work with and we were happy with the results. allegheny fence did ours and did a great job we used: Iron Eden Inc Address <https://www.google.com/search?sxsrf=ALeKk00krdGSd0nVGzOSqWfY4HvBno4Yhg:1628258430698&q=iron+eden+address&ludocid=15976325200411950558&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiOt_Sqx5zyAhXgElkFHepvBzQQ6BMwHXoECCMQAg>: 4001 Lorigan St, Pittsburgh, PA 15224 Phone <https://www.google.com/search?sxsrf=ALeKk00krdGSd0nVGzOSqWfY4HvBno4Yhg:1628258430698&q=iron+eden+phone&ludocid=15976325200411950558&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiOt_Sqx5zyAhXgElkFHepvBzQQ6BMwIHoECCwQAg>: (412) 656-4336 <https://www.google.com/search?gs_ssp=eJzj4tZP1zcsSS80t0wrMmC0UjWosLAwNkkzMrFIM041sTAwtLQyqEhJSTI3STNMSzRKTE5LSUn14swsys9TSE1JzQMAOfYS3A&q=iron+eden&oq=iron+ed&aqs=chrome.1.69i57j46i39i175i199j46i175i199i512j0i512j0i131i433i512j0i512j46i175i199i512j0i512l2.5460j0j15&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#> We have used several times Sal DeSamone (412) 478-9624 And his young partner Stephen Steven Scotty (412) 886-3987 They just finished installing a metal staircase that goes from the second floor to the third floor. Absolutely stunning and they put metal railings on the outside of the house. So I would highly recommend them both.
