As a follow-up to my initial email regarding a family at risk of losing their home, on Jan. 14 I will be hosting Rick Swartz from the Bloomfield Garfield Corp. "BGC" as we discuss ideas for how we might help six families this year. Our goal to help support these families is $6,000. I had nearly $1,000 pledged from 5-6 people from the first email. The gifting parameters and administration of the monies (by BGC) all will be discussed at the Jan. 14 meeting, along with details on some o the families. The goal us to get the most meaningful results for as many possible-especially kids-with no overhead.
