Choral Evensong is scheduled at 8 p.m. on the First Thursday of each month, October - May, at St. Andrew's Church, Highland Park. February 2 is a big day on the calendar! The 40th Day of Christmas, the Feast of the Purification of St. Mary the Virgin, the Feast of the Presentation of our Lord in the Temple, Candlemas--and, of course, Groundhog Day! The traditional service of Choral Evensong will be offered by the Parish Choir of St. Andrew's Church on Thursday evening, February 2, at 8 p.m. A recital follows the service. Piano for Four Hands. J.S. Bach, "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring," and Johannes Brahms, Waltzes. Josie Merlino and Jenifer Johnson, piano. And a festive Candlemas Reception follows in the Parish Hall.
