This brand new, large, durable, plastic postal mailbox is designed to be mounted on a post, but I have a similar one that I just set down on an outdoor table after weighing it down by screwing a piece of wood to the underside (which it would normally have underneath if it were mounted on a post, which is why it already has holes for that). I like these mailbox shapes because they hold so much more and things inside don’t get wet. My old wall-mounted rectangular one was often forced to be left open because newspaper-like flyers and magazines stuck out the top, and everything would get wet when it rained. This mailbox has gold lettering that says "US Mail". It has a gold flag to indicate you have mail waiting to be picked up. Color is brown-ish/bronze-ish. It is fully assembled and does not lock.
