[Highland Park] Teppanyaki Tokyo- new Japanese restaurant on Bryant St is open
Hello Highland Parkers, I'm happy to report that the new Japanese restaurant on Bryant St., Teppanyaki Tokyo, is open! My husband and I just had lunch there- we may have been their first customers. In addition to Japanese pancakes, there are meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes on the menu. The pancakes are made to order- you choose the style (Okonomika yaki or Hiroshima yaki) and the contents. Thick and full of vegetables, and whatever you want mixed in- beef, pork, shrimp, scallops etc. No oil is used- made on a very hot grill. Also soups, appetizers, and desserts. Try the house salad with mango mint dressing. Closed on Mondays. Dinner: Tues -Thurs 5-10 pm; Fri- Sat 5-11 pm; and Sun from 4:30 - 9:30. Lunch: Tues- Fri 11:30-2:30. Margot Cavalier
Glad to hear it's open--sounds great. But the name is Teppanyaki Kyoto (not Tokyo). Their Facebook page is: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Teppanyaki-Kyoto-Restaurant/245571672150764?sk... (You don't need to be a Facebook member to view it.) On 1/15/2012 2:33 PM, Margot Cavalier wrote:
