[Highland Park] Creative Reuse Open Hours
Just wanted to let folks know about a new project working out of the space at Construction Junction. It's called Creative Reuse Pittsburgh. Creative Reuse Pittsburgh collects reusable discards from from area businesses, and we have a small retail space where we sell a variety of materials that are ideal for creative and educational purposes - paper, binders, trays and containers, fabric, craft supplies, tubes of all sorts, plastic doohickeys, and much more. It can be a great resource for personal craft projects, school or senior group craft projects, or large-scale art projects, theater sets, etc. We are scheduling open hours for teachers, and anyone else, during the holiday break: Wednesday December 23rd 2pm-5pm Wednesday Dec. 30, 2-5pm Saturday January 2nd, 9am-5pm Just come in the main door of Construction Junction (Lexington Avenue in North Point Breeze, practically right across the street from the co-op), turn left and pass the cash register area and vending machines, and look for the Creative Reuse door right there beside the vending machines and head up the stairs. It's not a well-heated space, so dress warmly. More information and sign up for the email blasts here: http://creativereusepgh.blogspot.com/ Thanks!
