Negley Ave. (enter on Stanton Ave.) to discuss public safety issues and updates from throughout Zone 5. We hope that residents will attend to share information, trends, and successes from their communities; supply the Zone 5 officers in attendance with tips and emerging problems from their neighborhoods; and learn from the Zone 5 officers and guest speakers so that they may inform their neighbors, blockwatches, and community groups. *Next Meeting * Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, January 8th at 7:00pm at the Union Project. Special guest Detective Matt Marks will be in attendance to speak about the spate of home burglaries in some of the neighborhoods in Zone 5 and offer tips on how to prevent and handle this time of crime. Because we did not meet in December, we will have incident reports for both November and December 2012. Commander O'Connor should be back from his training in January and able to join us to tell us about what he has learned and what he envisions for Zone 5 in the new year. Finally, a big thank you to Lt. Reyne Kacsuta who stepped in for Commander O'Connor in the fall and joined us for our November meeting.
