Hi there, I just spent 45 minutes, (connecting remotely using Windows Remote Assistance) removing some junk ware, VNC connection software, and 12 trojan viri, from the PC of a person that fell for a phone scam, allowing the scammer to login to their PC. Success with the above. It’s all clean now. Remote Assistance is pretty awesome! Main point is ... No one legitimate will ever call you and tell you you have problems and request to login to your PC. I was told the call was very convincing, supposedly from Microsoft. The person that fell for it is a very intelligent professional, who just happens to be very trusting. Stay safe!
