[Highland Park] Donation responses
A few people asked to see the responses to my email about organizations taking donations of baby and mother stuff, so I thought I would repost the master list for everyone. There are a lot of great organizations out there - thanks for all of your responses! I can only donate to one place this time, but I'll keep the others in mind for the future. thanks, Amy Shannon Mischler Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council Magee Womancare International on prenatal and neonatal care shannon@gplc.org Womens' Center and Shelter 4760 Centre ave 412-687-8005, 412 687-8017 www.wcspittsburgh.org Bethlehem Haven http://www.bethlehemhaven.org/ Junior League Wearafter Shop 4752 Liberty Ave, Pittsburgh, 15224 - (412) 687-2600 Sojourner House, over on Penn Avenue a shelter for moms-with-kids who are in recovery 412 441-7783 Donation box for a battered women's shelter in the parking lot for the east end co-op Miryams in Uptown The Pregnancy Care Centers in Oakland 412-687-7767 Early Head Start East End 134 S Highland Ave They are a part of: University of Pittsburgh Office of Child Development, LL104 400 North Lexington Avenue Pittsburgh,PA 15208 (412) 244-5013 YWCA Greater Pittsburgh - Bridge Housing program (transitional housing) for homeless women and their children.
