[Highland Park] Yoga and Massage at the same time!
February and March classes have been added! For More information and to register for classes please check our new website: www.yinyogassage.com A new form of yoga practice is developing in Pittsburgh, Yin Yogassage. Yin Yogassage is a blend of a 2 hour yin yoga practice with massage. Similar to a traditional Yin Yoga practice, students will be holding a series of seated and reclining poses for longer periods of time. The goal is to gradually ease into the poses while allowing muscles to relax and the energy to release in the deep connective tissue of the hips, spine and shoulders. While in the poses, students will be receiving massage from a massage therapist, helping them release stress and tension held in the body as well as inviting them to move deeper into the poses. The practice is very quieting and grounding, allowing for a reflective, meditative experience. Class size is limited to only six students so that everyone receives personal attention during the practice.
