Greetings, everyone! It's a beautiful day, and it's got me thinking about the birds and the bees and the flowers and the trees! This week's class will be all about the most important Four Bs your garden (and your entire environment!) have ever seen: Birds Bees Butterflies Bats (Yes. Bats.) We'll talk about the incredible service the B's offer to the world, what they do for you and your garden, how they do it, why they do it, and how to get more of them to think of your place as party central! We'll also talk about current threats to these friendly critters and some of the things we can all do to help them out. If you love watching any or all of these guys, and wish you could attract more of them to your yard (even with minimal effort!), make it a point to join us! Two class sessions are available: a morning session from 9:30 to 11:30 am, and an evening session from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. We met at Temple Sinai, 5505 Forbes Avenue in Squirrel Hill, 15217 (the corner of Forbes and Murdoch). The entrance is off of Forbes Avenue, between the two large stone columns. We will meet in room 206 of the school. (Upstairs. Elevator available.) Classes are $20 each, and I accept cash, check, major credit cards and PayPal. (Sliding scale available. No cost if it's a hardship.) I hope I see you on Wednesday! RSVP preferred, but walk-ins are ALWAYS welcome! Rachel 412-251-9759
