Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra 2nd Annual Community Partners Concert benefits Education Innovations, Inc. Check your mailbox and mark your calendars! In early April, brochures about the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestras 2nd Annual Community Partners Concert taking place on Friday, June 24, 2005 will be mailed out. Proceeds from this concert will go directly to more than 50 participating community partner organizations, including Education Innovations, Inc. When buying tickets to the Community Partners concert this year, designate Education Innovations, Inc. as the recipient and we will receive the full price of the ticket. Tickets for this event go on sale Monday, April 4 and can be purchased at the Heinz Hall box office, by visiting the Heinz Hall Box Office, calling 412-392-4900 or online at www.pittsburghsymphony.org. Tickets range from $21.25 to $112.25 with good main floor seats only $61.25. But why wait. Be the first to get your tickets by calling Education Innovations, Inc. (412.363.7707), or stop by Tazza Doro this Sunday, April 3, from 10:30am until 1:30pm. People who purchase at $61.25 and above will be invited to a complementary reception at Tazza Doro before the concert. Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra concerts are always well worth your time, but even more when the money goes directly to Education Innovations, Inc. The PSO has planned this concert program to include a combination of classical and pops repertoire. The concert's first half will feature the winner of the 8th Annual Sphinx Competition in performance with the PSO; the second half will present the PSO with Dionne Warwick. Dionne received her first Grammy Award in 1968 for the classic "Do You Know The Way to San Jose?" and has established herself as an international musical legend over an illustrious four-decade career. Mr. Chelsea Tipton, II, Resident Conductor of the Toledo Symphony Orchestra, will be our guest conductor for the evening. See you at Heinz Hall!
