Thanks to all who replied to this. The problem has been resolved now. We went with TUDI mainly because I thought of the listserve late as a resource, and the wife had gotten a couple of favorable reviews of TUDI already. They were prompt, swift, and pleasant. I am grateful for the resource of suggestions from everyone however, thank you very much. It turned out to be the ignitor, as suspected (it had been so repeatedly over the years), and it turns out they had put in the wrong one before (and perhaps previously?); a 120v instead of the required 80v. In the end, we had called Air Pro 4 times, and been promised calls each time. The only one we got came nearly an hour later than they promised this morning (some 17 hours after our first call), so we decided whoever gave us the heads up call first would win (still prepared to give them a chance to the end). Air Pro finally called to say they were on their way, about an hour after the TUDI guy was wrapped up, and gone. It cost us $282 in the end, but of course; I have no idea whether this is good or bad unfortunately. Again; thanks for everyone's consideration, and concern.
