We have also invited the youth of the E-Fest committee to play a vital role in addressing this issue in our youth. In addition, local council people and the Pittsburgh Police Department will be invited to participate in this conversation. This is a free event open to the public. Please RSVP by March 15th to hilary@unionproject.org or call 412-363-4550 x 4 to RSVP to Kathy. The date of the meeting is March 23rd beginning at 7:30 pm. Assistant Stained Glass Instructor Andrea Boykowycz is offering a workshop in decorating eggs in the Ukrainian "pysanky" style. This method uses hot wax and bright aniline dyes to develop intricate, multi-colored batiked designs. This is an ancient art, and the traditional Ukrainian designs involve symbolism that's both pagan and Christian -- but you can use these techniques to develop your own decorative style and symbolism, if you like! Classes will be on two consecutive Saturdays, April 1 and April 8, from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. Space is limited to 20 per workshop. A $5 materials fee will cover eggs, tools, wax and dye. RSVP to andrea@twirt.com to reserve your spot! _______________________________________________ update mailing list update@unionproject.org http://unionproject.mennonite.net/mailman/listinfo/update.unionproject
