2-yr old tree cross-section is free for the taking. Find it in the only driveway that is off the alley behind Stanton Ave between Sheridan and Collins (the 6100 block of Stanton Ave). The alley is called Carmine or Carnival, depending on whether you are reading street signs or google maps. It is very heavy so bring help to lift it. First come, first serve. Let me know once you take it so I can tell others it is no longer available. It’s under the deck besides the trash cans, as you can see. There is a narrow crack, as I show in the photo. It would be cool to fill with a contrasting color of wood chips and resin, I think. Set it on some braced 4x4’s with a bit of marine varnish, perhaps, for a very neat table.
