What is being done to correct the vandalism? Clearly it is not resolving on its own. It has been two years. The Highland Park Community would be grateful for your attention to this matter. Thank you for the sanitizer at least. ----- Original Message ----- From: Gable, Mike To: Sherry Goldman Sent: Thursday, May 28, 2009 8:28 AM Subject: RE: Highland Park bathrooms At this point the Portable unit will remain. Correct me if I am wrong but isn't the restroom a single room that serves both male and female? I didn't think there were two rooms. Nonetheless we have to correct the vandalism that occurs up there before we open again. I will contact the company to make sure the sanitizer is in the unit (if it hasn't been corrected already). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ From: Sherry Goldman [mailto:sherry.goldman@verizon.net] Sent: Wednesday, April 29, 2009 10:49 PM To: Gable, Mike Subject: Highland Park bathrooms Dear Mr. Gable, Two years ago you were kind enough to upgrade the reservoir bathrooms at my suggestion. They installed soap and towel dispensers, extra toilet paper rolls and turned on the hot water. It was great for a little while and then someone vandalized the men's bathroom and threw the toilet into the reservoir. Then the bathrooms were locked and have been since. What is the story? A lovely park of this caliber should have something better than a port-a-potty. At least, please fill the sanitizer in the port-a-potty.
