Written on 9-20-16 Dear PJ, I can't believe today marks two years of you missing from our lives. It's been a nightmare for us. I can't imagine what you must be feeling. I tried everything in my power to bring you home. You are never far from my thoughts. I wonder if you have eaten enough, if you dream about us, and if you cry for your daddy. You are always my beautiful, goofy, funny, little boy. We had eight amazing years together and I write this to you with tears in my eyes. Be brave, little boy. I loved you enough to train you with a bell to go outside, to teach you tricks and take you on pet visits to get over your skittishness, to do research on your treats and find out what was making you very ill, to keep you clothed in a sweater or coat to keep you from shivering, to be less selfish and think of your needs first, to stare in wonder at the bond you had with daddy, to rush you to the vet when you were coughing or when you fell off my bed, and cradle you in my arms and sing you songs in the waiting room, to feed you by hand when you were being fussy with your food, to stay up at odd hours cause you weren't feeling well, to move out of state and leave you behind with daddy and in your first home because you both were each other's whole world, and to hop on the back of a scooter and flyer a neighborhood, to go on a radio show and talk about your missing, to follow leads and establish a plan to find you, but most of all to love you unconditionally at every age even when you were old and grey. Now 11 year old Black and Tan smooth haired speckled chest and belly dachshund mix, DRNA tag and others tags on when he went missing in highland park/ east Liberty on 9/20/14 while my parent's were on vacation in France Please help us bring our baby home!! Thank you and Happy New Year https://www.facebook.com/helpbringmisterpjhome/
