Dear Neighbors, I wanted to let you know that the young woman who has started this small day care on my block on Sheridan Avenue is a wonderful and gifted teacher for young children (see her recent email below). I have known Francesca since she was 10 years old, from the day we bought our home across from her parents (you may recognize her mother, Rita, who is the famously loving and strict crossing guard at Dilworth School). Francesca and her family showered love and attention on my daughter Maddigan, who was two years old at the time. That was 1999. Fast forward to today when Francesa, with a BA in Education and a focus on Early Childhood, has opened a darling, unique and tiny (6 children) day care that will cater to those lucky parents and children who find her first. Children who find Francesca will have access to a lovely garden, a sweet play area with wonderful learning materials, some small animals, a location that is not far from the park, and best of all, great family and neighbors who support Francesca and create part of the village of support that all children need to thrive. I have opened a Newly renovated daycare here in Highland Park and am posting this again for those who might not have seen my previous posts. I have 10+ years experience with children, cpr and first aid training, a degree in early education and will do monthly discounts if your child will be attending a full month. I am dedicated to not only taking care of the children but beginning their learning experience with preschool curriculum based on your child's age and needs. So If you are in need of childcare, you can reach me by email at francescacosta89@gmail.com or call at me at (412) 969-1735 to discuss this further.
Thank you, Francesca Costa
