[Highland Park] Piano Concert Friday Night at Pittsburgh Seminary
Join your neighbors for amazing piano performances of international patriotic selections Fri., April 5 at 7:00 p.m. at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in the Knox Room, Long Hall (616 N. Highland Ave.). This event, "Land that I Love: A Concert of Two Pianos with an International Flare," will feature Faye W. D'Ippolito and Edith M. Humphrey performing five selections in addition to Angela Hancock singing The Star Spangled Banner. Other pieces include Variationen über ein Thema von Joseph Haydn Opus 56b (Brahms), Anticipations of Scotland Opus 75 (Moscheles), The Canadian (Merritt), Porgy and Bess Fantasy for Two Pianos (Gershwin), and Union (Gottschalk). Suggested donation is $10 at the door. Proceeds will be directed toward The Student Scholarship Fund for Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.
