Hello neighbors, We have had five deposits of Giant Eagle bags of cut up and partially eaten watermelon placed on our front lawn and driveway over the last few weeks. The first delivery also contained KFC trash. As a Black woman, the racist implications are not lost on me. It turns out that another neighbor has also had two such bags dumped at their home. We both have political displays of our overtly left-leaning values in our yards and thought that perhaps that may have prompted those responsible to target us, if indeed we are being intentionally targeted. I’m wondering whether anyone else has had bags of watermelon dumped on their lawns or drives over the last few weeks. If so, would you please let me know?
