I've dug up a bucket full of primrose root balls. These blood in early June, about 12- 15" tall. Then you can cut them back. They spread nicely and are easy to remove if you get too many. We live at 1312 N. Sheridan. The bucket is on the porch. Bring a container and help yourself. Jean Clickner
