Sharing a review about Ace Lock in E Liberty
Often people ask for others to please share good or not-so-good reviews… So here is mine from today… While dropping off some donations to the GoodWill in E Liberty, I was kindly asked to wait for several minutes before pulling up all the way to the boxes because other pallets of boxes were being lifted & loaded onto a truck. I was happy to wait until the young man signaled that I could now place things into the boxes. However, since I was still blocked by the truck, I started to remove items from my car to place into the GW boxes. There was a Ace Lock and Key van behind me. The driver was not interested in waiting, although he could have easily turned and exited from the other entrance next to their store front. As the GW truck moved, the van driver yelled out his window for me to move my car…. My arms were loaded with items for GW, so I asked him to wait one second. After placing items in the GW boxes, I got in my car and moved up and over to the side (to where the GW truck had been). At this point the van could've passed by me easily. The driver became very aggressive and began honking and raced by my car recklessly & at a high rate of speed. I was shocked but the employee of GW, who was still standing outside, said that is common behavior from them! I was appalled by the behavior of this van driver and several minutes later proceeded to call Ace Lock and Key to report it. The person who answered the phone took my name and then transferred me to Carol, who stared she had been in that van. She began screaming at me and telling me that I was rude and then hung up on me. I called back again and received the same response of yelling and a hangup. We have lived here in Highland Park for 32 years and have been customers in the past and would have been in the future… until now. I sincerely feel that this appalling behavior should not be tolerated and certainly not rewarded by patronage. Mary Roberge Sent from my iPhone
