Having not found a group in Pittsburgh dedicated to addressing issues of cigarette smoking in public places around our city and raising awareness about the effects of smoking and second-hand smoke, I've decided to start a non-profit organization for this purpose. I have no experience with starting up something like this so ideally I'd like to get together with others who have done some grassroots work. I'm very passionate about creating more public environments where air can be free of the toxins found in cigarette smoke and educating the public (particularly youth).
