Zone 5 Community Crime Update - May 25 - 31
Please see the latest report attached. The most interesting part for Highland Park is the Crime Trends section. It indicates 3 burglaries in the neighborhood. They are not listed in the report, but I know some emails went out to the ListServ about them. Please call 911 if you see anything suspicious. Crime Trends Zone 5 experienced a spike in burglaries and theft from automobiles this week. Specifically, a cluster of thefts were noted in Stanton Heights (Schenley Manor Drive, Coleridge Street, and Woodbine Street). Highland Park experienced a spike in burglaries (Bryant Street, Winterton Street, and St. Marie Street). Lincoln-Lemington also experienced several burglaries this week (Lincoln Ave, Tilden, Street, and Rowan Street). **Many of these crimes occur because the victim’s forget to lock their cars or homes. Please make sure you always lock your doors! Be vigilant. If you see something out of place, call 911. If you see a person or vehicle that doesn’t look right, trust your instinct. Call us and we will look into it.** Best regards, Monica Monica Watt President, Highland Park Community Council Editor, HPCC Newsletter Co-Chair, House Tour Committee Co-Chair, Playground Committee Member, Beautification Committee President ESP Studios 625 Liberty Avenue, 24th FL Pittsburgh, PA 15222 412.642.7700 v 412.642.2277 f 412.980.4208 c monica.watt@elias-savion.com<mailto:monica.watt@elias-savion.com> From: Lando, Jason Sent: Monday, June 01, 2015 4:39 PM To: Jason Lando Cc: Karen McNeal; Michael Gay; Tenisha Pettus; Jeffery Crawford Subject: Zone 5 Community Crime Update Greetings Neighbors!
