Submitting completed mail-in ballots at the Allegheny County Office Building
My wife and I went downtown at around 1:00 PM last Thursday afternoon to submit our mail-in ballots. We filled out our ballots at home, sealed them in their secrecy envelopes, then sealed the secrecy envelope inside of the official envelope and completed the declaration information on the back of the envelope according to the instructions. They now have a parking area on Forbes Avenue outside of the building and, contrary to earlier distributed instructions, you can now hand in your completed mail-in ballot on the first floor of the County Building. Even having had to wait for an elevator to go to the 6th Floor It only took us a few minutes to confirm that it was our individual ballot and the declaration signature was our respective signatures. *You can only deliver your own ballot*. You enter the County Building at 542 Forbes Avenue. There will be someone to assist and direct you. I highly recommend this safe and secure way to submit your mail-in ballot free from worry of problems with the USPS, exposure to coronavirus, and without voter interference. Don't forget to wear a mask. Harold Love
