At St. Andrew's this week: Our "first Thursday" Choral Evensong in Advent, at 8 p.m. on Thursday evening, December 4, will followed by a recital by harpist Samara Magnelli. The program promises a lovely presentation of music of the season by a gifted musician. This service, observing the Feast of St. Nicholas of Myra, will include preacher and Highland Park/Greystone Drive neighbor Bishop Henry Scriven--and our reception following the recital will be a parish and neighborhood "Bon Voyage" for Bishop Henry and Catherine as they return to England for a new appointment at the end of the year.
