Re: [Highland Park] Lunch at Taj Mahal
I hate to run down a neighborhood business, but my experience with Taj Mahal has not been good. I cook Indiana food and eat at Indian restaurants often. I was a regular patron of Sitar. But when the ownership changed, the food was simply not well prepared. Has it improved since their first few weeks, as I haven't been back recently? --On Friday, January 14, 2005 9:56 PM +0000 Juanita Everett <creativekinetics@hotmail.com> wrote:
There have been a few e-mail exchanges about the good food at Taj Mahal. Unfortunately, each time one of us Indian food lovers have patronized the restaurant, there are very few people present. Our area needs good quality restaurants. We want Taj Mahal to stay, and in order to do that, they need our support.
Would anyone be interested in having a group lunch one Saturday in February? Taj Mahal has a really good buffet. This is a great way to network and meet residents of the area. Bring a friend or relative who doesn't live in HP.
Perhaps, we could arrange for the owner to give us a brief history about Indian food.
If your interested, please e-mail or cal mel 412-441-3287.
