Hi neighbors! The weather this weekend promises to be wonderful - perfect for a festival! As it turns out, the European Studies Center at the University of Pittsburgh just happens to be hosting one this Saturday. Our EuroFest will be held 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Posvar Hall (230 S. Bouquet Street) on Pitt's campus. It is a family-friendly event that is free and open to the public. There will be food trucks, performances, lots of kids activities (including an egg hunt and crafts sponsored by the Carnegie Library, The Frick Pittsburgh, The Mattress Factory, and more). We will be giving away great prizes - like two round-trip tickets to Iceland or Europe on Wow Air (from PIT). There will also be a marketplace for local vendors and artisans. Easy access on 71A, 71B or 75 if you don't want to deal with parking in Oakland (though there should be plenty as it is the weekend). I hope to see lots of HP neighbors there!
