[Highland Park] Free Appliance Drop off
PA Resources Council and Appliance Warehouse team up to accept drop-offs of refrigerators and air conditioners for FREE The Pennsylvania Resources Council, Inc. (PRC) announces a partnership with the Appliance Warehouse for free and discounted appliance recycling. For FREE appliance recycling, individuals are invited to drop-off their old, broken or unwanted major appliances at Appliance Warehouse, located at 523 Bingham Street, South Side. Appliances include air conditioners, refrigerators, washers, dryers and other products typically categorized as "white goods". For every appliance dropped off, Appliance Warehouse will make a donation to support PRC's grassroots litter and graffiti prevention efforts in the community. There is no limit to the number of appliances that may be dropped off. Freon will be removed at Appliance Warehouse by EPA certified technicians. If individuals need their appliances picked up from their homes, they can call the Appliance Warehouse at 1-888-GO-FREON (463-7366). Those who mention the phrase "Don't be a litterbug" (one of PRC's catch slogans) will receive a 10% discount off the pickup service. Visit www.prc.org for more information.
