While cleaning up dead leaves, I accidentally pulled out some of my siberian iris. They need thinned out anyway, but I did not have time to yank more out today. There are about 5 little pieces of plant with roots sitting on my front steps for whoever would like to plant them. They are blue/purple in color, grow to about 2-3 feet tall, and spread. They bloom usually the beginning of May, and are just starting to show green leaves now. So I think the plants I pulled out have a decent chance of blooming this year. I have them planted both in front and in back of my house, with some getting lots of early day sunshine and the other getting lots of shade. They bloom in both locations, but I think prefer the sun. It is just a small clear plastic bag with a little water in it, and not sealed. So take care and dont spill the water on yourself. Bob 931 Mellon Street
