Have You Heard About The Teal Pumpkin Project?
Hi neighbors! As Halloween approaches, I wanted to make you all aware of a new Trick-or-Treat tradition that is becoming widely popular this year. It's called the Teal Pumpkin Project. Essentially, as you take your little ghosts and goblins trick-or-treating around town and you see homes showcasing teal colored pumpkins, it's a sign that non-food treats are available for those with food allergies or kiddos who want a fun treat that doesn't involve candy! Our home will be proudly displaying a teal pumpkin this year offering a non-food treat. As a mom of two kids with food allergies, we're hoping other families in Highland Park will do the same. If you'd like to learn more about this amazing project, I've included a few articles below. Wishing all of you a fun and safe Halloween!
