Hello fellow Highland Parkers! I recently started putting together a newsletter of things going on in the neighborhood while highlighting local businesses and services. I would consider this a more condensed version of the Highland Park Community Council's newsletter who by the way, are an incredible group of people who are really passionate about this community (huge thanks to Monica and everyone there for their hard work!) In June, I walked around certain streets for my first edition to meet my fellow neighbors and I met a lot of really nice people. I want to thank everyone I met for taking some time out of their day to talk and for your helpful feedback! If you know of a local event, business, or service you want to advertise, get in touch with me and I'd be happy to include it in my next edition. For now, there is no charge for advertising it's just first come first serve.
