[Highland Park] HPCC newsletters & minutes on the web site
I have been working on a project for a while now to get all of the available Highland Park Community Club meeting minutes on the web site; the project is *far* from complete, but many meetings are already documented: <http://www.highlandparkpa.com/org/hpcc/minutes/> A new project I've just started is putting the HPCC newsletters on the site... I've started with a newsletter from September 1979 and one from January 1999. I had to scan the one from 1979 but was able to directly convert the one from 1999. Both are now in Adobe PDF format--the software to display this format is freely available. Please take a look at these documents and let me know what you think: <http://www.highlandparkpa.com/org/hpcc/newsletters/> I expect to focus primarily on converting old newsletters (which I'm still looking for copies of!), but I will probably add recent ones soon anyway since they are easier to produce. I will avoid putting up recent newsletters until they are at least a couple of months old. Thanks to Ollie Rielly for giving me his newsletter files going back to 1998, and to Maureen Cato, Dell Ziegler and Rochelle Sufrin for lending me their newsletter archives collectively going back to 1979! Update: All of Ollie's newsletters from late 1998 through June of 2003 are now on-line. The PDF versions are not exact replicas of the original print editions, but they're close enough for the purpose of archiving these on the web. If you've had any trouble viewing these, or have any other comments or suggestions about them, please let me know! Thanks, Rudy
