[Highland Park] Another renewable energy source: Green Eagle Green Energy Collaborative
Hello again, As a follow-up to my last email about Ambit Energy's wind-powered energy supply, another neighbor has told me about Citizen Power's "Green Eagle Green Energy Collaborative" plan. It appears to be lower than what we found from Ambit (Green Eagle: 7.1 cents/kwh for 12-month contract; cheaper for longer contracts), so you might want to consider this option too. I am not well-versed with the details of this plan/company (again - suggestion from another neighbor), so please read the details thoroughly yourself to make sure you're getting what you expect. The plan I'm talking about can be found at the very bottom of this page (second table): http://citizenpower.com/GEC/saveDuquesne.html Also note that the first table is a little deceiving: I believe the column titled "Price (per kWh)" is the LOWEST price that that company offers, NOT necessarily that associated w/ green energy. Also, the first table lists other companies w/ green options, so this helps you know where to look if you want to compare a few. Thanks to the people who responded to my first email letting me know they're making the switch - glad to hear it! Meg
