Everyone, Bibliophiles alert! My daugther's class at the Waldorf School of Pittsburgh has organized a different fund raiser to help fund their week-long 3rd grade class trip to a farm this coming spring. Bring your used books that you are ready to pass along, pay $10 at the door of the new White Whale Bookstore in Bloomfield, and get the chance to bring home new-to-you books that others are passing along! There will be both fiction and non-fiction in both children's and adult categories. This is an adults-only event. At the same time, you can support a new local bookstore by buying new books from White Whale Books as a jump start (or continuation) of your holiday shopping. We will have light refreshments.
